When do tickets go on sale?
Early Bird Tickets are on sale as of the 1st of September this includes 3 nights free camping (Thursday, Friday, Saturday). General Ticket sales are open as of October 1st

What is the line up?

I am a local; do I have to pay full price for a ticket if I am not camping?
Tickets are $120 which we think is great value at less than $6 per band! Camping is free to all and we do encourage locals to use the FREE camping to really experience the festival vibe. We have a child minding service and various activities happening around the park. However if you don't wish to camp that is fine. You will have to go through the same ticket process as everyone else.

What happens if it rains?
The show must go on! The festival will run rain, hail or shine, unless the safety of patrons and artists are in danger. The festival does reserve the right to reschedule the event and/or change locations.

The festival is BYO is there limits on what we can bring?
No glass allowed in the festival and no unreasonable amounts per site as per any normal camping trip for a family orientated environment. All glass bottles of alcohol will be confiscated and will not be returned to the patron so please leave it at home.

How many tickets do you sell?
Fotsun has a ticket limit of 3000, so you had better get in quick!

It's fantastic that camping is included in the ticket price, when can we arrive and when do we have to leave?
Your General Camping ticket allows you to camp from 11am Friday 11th of December until 4 PM on Sunday the 13th of December 2009. Please DO NOT ARRIVE between 8 PM and 8 AM or you will be turned away by security.

I want to camp next to my friends, is that possible?
Camping site allocations are provided on arrival, arrive together if you want to camp together. If you intend to camp alongside friends YOU MUST meet up beforehand and arrive together - there are NO EXCEPTIONS!

Is it safe to leave my valuable items lying around my tent and not expect them to be stolen?
NO!!! We will be supplying 24 Hr security at the festival and the camping site but we do not take responsibility for one's property. Either lock your valuables away or keep them on you.

Are there powered sites for a caravan?
There sure is but you do need to book the space call Sundowner Holidays ph: 0265832755 for more information and bookings.

I just can't get enough music - can I set up my stereo on my campsite?
Of course you can but be aware that if you rock to loud and upset your neighbours we may have to ask you leave, and we wont let you back in. So enjoy your tunes but don't keep anyone awake!

Are there showers and toilets?
There sure are, and REAL SOFT TOILET PAPER! Why not check out the camping facilities on the Sundowner Holidays website.

Can we pick our camping site?
No, first in first served. Camping allocation will be a lot tighter this year so we can make sure everyone fits so please cooperate with our Camping Managers, it’s only fair.

Are fireworks permitted on the site?
FIREWORKS are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in the camping and festival area. If you are caught with fireworks you will be ejected from the campground and the festival and the matter will then be passed on over to the police to deal with.
 
Is it OK to park in surrounding streets?
No, parking inspectors will be on patrol and will happily give you a ticket. Our camping managers will assist in making enough for your car however please make use of carpooling as much as possible.

Can I bring my dog?
Animals are not permitted on the camping or event grounds.

Can I work at the festival in return for a ticket?
Yes, we will be running a volunteer program but there are limited positions available. If you would like to be involved please fill in a Volunteer Application form on our website.
